CUNY SAYS THEY HAVE A NEW RECORD NUMBER OF GRADS.
A WHOPPING FIFTY-NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY-FIVE STUDENTS GOT THEIR DEGREES IN THE SCHOOL YEAR OF 2020 TO 2021.
THIS IS A 27 HUNDRED PERSON INCREASE COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS YEAR. THROUGH THE PANDEMIC’S MANY CHALLENGES, THE CLASS OF 2021 EARNED THE MOST NUMBER OF DEGREES IN THE UNIVERSITY’S 175 YEAR HISTORY.
YORK GRAD SURENDRA DHANPAUL, SAYS HE SPENT YEARS FEELING UNFULFILLED IN ACCOUNTING BEFORE PURSUING COMPUTER SCIENCE AT YORK. HE SAYS HIS NUMBER ONE TIP TO STUDENTS IS, “KNOW WHY YOU ARE GETTING YOUR DEGREE IN THE FIRST PLACE.”
HE ALSO SAYS HE KNOWS HE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE BECAUSE OF HIS GENUINE LOVE OF COMPUTERS.
